About the event

Across the U.S., the closure of churches and religious spaces is reshaping the social, cultural, and health infrastructure of communities. This convening will bring together faith leaders, policymakers, philanthropists, academics, entrepreneurs, developers, and local residents to explore the far-reaching impacts of church closures on community well-being and to co-develop solutions.

The centerpiece of the event will be the launch of a new data dashboard, the first of its kind, which illustrates church closures at both national and local levels. This inaugural version focuses on churches, with future iterations planned to include other faith based institution
